My c: drive along with my f: which was used for storage are both busted! I used the samsung es tool and done a full service scan and said I had bad sectors, tried to reboot still windows won't load, starts with blue bars going across but restarts after 2 secs (xp pro) I done fixmbr with the windows xp repair option and made no diff! Now I'm looking for some hard drive recovery software which will allow me to boot off a USB stick or DVD drive into dos, scan and look for stuff on the drive and allow me to copy to an external drive or even windows based as I'm gonna install windows onto another drive again anyway! Any help much appreciated as it has pictures and cv documents along with other stuff I would like
