Just a quick note, Virgin ADSL is different to Virgin Cable. The former is a rented (usually) BT line, and the latter is the real deal.
No doubt that will change once they roll out the 100Mb/s service later in the year![]()
At which point i'll upgrade to the ludicrously fast 100MB, he he!
Once it gets to my area i'll probably make the jump to 50mb as the price will drop a bit but 100mb is likely to be about 75 quid a month, bugger that.
Virgin ADSL is a horrific ISP, get rid of it as soon as you possibly can.
Well I have 20mb Virgin Cable and outside of peak usage times I can regularly hit 8-10mb/sec on steam downloads.
never seen my virgin 20mb cable go above 2mb/sec...which i think relates to 20mb..
No as above, it's 20mb, or 2Mb/sec. I get 1Mb downloads regularly with it peaking at 1.5Mb/sec sometimes. I suppose I should be getting 2Mb, but I'm happy with it.never seen my virgin 20mb cable go above 2mb/sec...which i think relates to 20mb..
