I've just noticed a tiny thunderbug wandering round inside my monitor. This happened on my last one and 4 or 5 of them died near the middle, which was pretty annoying.
Any tips on getting/keeping them out?

Nothing you can do i'm afraid.

I live next to a field and they get everywhere!!

I found that once they die, after a little while you can tap and wiggle the screen against the desk and they just drop to the bottom.

surely you could trick them with a tourch :/

I was luring it upwards with white part of Firefox window behind it and black part in front when it suddenly just disappeared.
No idea where its gone, but glad it has!

Can see tech supports response to dead bugs problem: Live bugs in order. :p

Would be really time to press for faster research of OLED/SED displays... besides combining CRT's image quality/speed to flat size they wouldn't have this kind cracks for anything to get into.

Same problem here. My monitors haven't been used for a few days, fired them up today and I've got three in one, and one in the other!

Why is mother nature so mean to us!

If you can lure it to the edge of the screen they tend to head towards the light of your backlight, so at least they die out of sight - I found using a black screen worked best, and then 'shepherd' them with your white mouse pointer. The tricky bit is finding the little bugger when you turn your screen black
