bloody gorgeous! i bet your well happy with it

Cheers. Really pleased with it. My XSPC bay res is annoying as the front doesn't look right. I may sneak a Bitspower tube res in the drive bay and D5 top in the bottom (anything to keep messing!!):D

How do those XSPC SLI connectors actually attach/connect?

There are screw 4 holes in the in the top and bottom next to the G1/4. The seal tight with a grommet. I prefer the look to tubing and a complete bonus is that the cards feel like one due to the rigidity, handy for installing etc

Yes, I like the look also and am considering the XSPC blocks over the Aquacomputer blocks for that reason. I'm tempted to go Tri-SLI though, would these work across 3 cards? (I'm guessing serial definitely will, what about parallel?)

EDIT: I also see you're using EVGA cards with backplates. Did that affect the waterblock install in any way? (I'm afraid that due to the slight extra depth I'd over-tighten the screws)

Pretty sure you would have to go serial with the blocks.

The back plates are attached using holes that the block doesn't. The plates are rested on and I uses some M3 nuts & bolts

Also do you know where I can find some countersunk screws in black to put the case internals back together? I don't think they are M3? I can't find them absolutely anywhere.

I asked Nils but he doesn't have any, but what is he using in the MKII then!?

The countersink screws are 6/32 thread. I was looking for some but not found any yet. That's the problem when you start modding there's about £30 in lovely hex head screws all hidden from view.

The part addiction continues!!!. The XSPC bay res was great in my 800D. In the TJ07 with its simple panel design I find the resonance too audible and the front panel doesn't look right due to the slightly oversize bay res.

I've gone for a pump top and single bay res. I'm going to try and hide the res so the front is cleaner.

Nice build. Why don't you use the combs with the mobo backplate?

I have a big bunch of black 6-32 screws from the US, but I am in mainland Europe.

TO be honest the combs edition was unavailable at the time. Looking at pics of builds with it there is no difference in visual. I think I slightly prefer the plate I have. Thanks for your comments btw;)

All done.

Added a Koolance CPU 380 which drastically improveed over the XSPC Raystorm.
Also put in a Koolance TNK-501 res which is a stunning bit of kit.
Swapped the old P67 Maximus IV for a new Maximus V Gene Z77

Thanks very much fellas. I must be happy with it too. The case side hasn't been off since 27th Jan. I've usually swapped cases or something significant in a month.

Looking very nice. Very clean. Ik like that.

Too bad you got rid of the Raystorm.

And someone has been doing some serious shopping @ Colderzero I see ;)

Just the mobo backplate and 5.25 side cover from cold zero I fabricated the white bay plastics. I got rid of the raystorm and my temps dropped significantly. Really impressed with the 380. I think it's the fact its far easier to seat

Okay you also fabricated the rear panels yourself? And the top window?

Anyway, good stuff. I hope my Raystorm will give me good temps.

No they are pulse modding. Raystorm is a great block had one for about 6months. Just found temps to be around 3-4oc lower with the koolance block
