As per many of the posts I am sure you get... I have been out of the 'Scene' for a while now and could do with opinions on a new build. Budget is around £1000, I already have Monitor, KB, Mouse, 1TB Harddrive & Coolermaster Seidon 120 cooler.

So far I have come up with:

Gigabyte Z87X UD4H
Samsung 120GB SSD 840 EVO
Seasonic S12II 620W
Patriot Venom Red 8GB 2400mhz

Also should I get...
i5 4670k or i7 4770k?
MSI GTX760 Frozr 2gb or 4gb?

Finally I have no idea what so ever with regards to a case :p

All advice/opinions on all aspects will greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the input so far. Just checked the new weekly deals, How would the Titan 450i Sabre" Intel Core i7 4770K @ 4.4GHz Overclocked Haswell Quad Core Gaming PC compare? Seems easier if it's already been OC'd for me :)

Case wise

Or there's a silver model coming out soon

Unless you're a staunch nividia fanboy the 7970 is prob best value at the moment, you get free games you can sell if you don't like them/already have them.

Love this case! Seen someone on the forums use it in a water cool setup and looks amazing. Sorry I can't remember who did it now but it was recent so you may be able to find it.

Easier but more expensive and less fun lol :)

Cracking build for £1000. i7 because it fits in your budget, 7970 as their amazing value for money right now and the Seasonic G Series power supplies are very good. I have the 360W version in my HTPC and it ridiculously quiet.

Case is pretty much all personal preference.

Thanks for all your input! Seems like I haven't got the Cooler after all, Any advice on that? Should I look for another water cooled one?

Yeah you can. The card should fit, if not you can always remove the extra HDD cage which you wont need unless you are sporting more than 3 drives.

sorry i should have been clearer lol you can fit most systems in a mid case, its usually only the graphics card and cooler you need to consider fitting in. the system you have above would fit fine mate.
