Build completed with pics

Just out of curiosity and Im rather out of the loop with hardware, why did you go with a matx board? Is it a good clocker or something

I've built an i5 760 with a GTX 460 in the same case over the weekend. Really nice case but not a lot of depth round the back to route the cables.

Some pics of mine:

I've tried to get a reasonably tidy build without being totally obsessed about it, and it looks resonably good. I don't think the wiring is as neat as yours though. :)

The build went pretty smoothly, and everything fired up first time.

I did have a big fright though. I was fiddling around with the insides trying to locate a slight rattle when suddenly the PC starts beeping like mad. I thought I'd shorted it out!

But when I looked at the monitor it was still running fine, churning away at a Prime 95 test. I then turned around to see my daughter playing around with one of those LCD games you get free from McDonalds. :D

Looks pretty damn tidy to me mate :-)

Reason I went for a MATX was I was originally going for a smaller case but (thankfully) they didn't have stock. Stuck with the mobo as it offered everything I needed + didn't need anymore slots + I think it keeps the inside of the case less cluttered.

Nice build. Look pretty tidy. Was thinking about that case for my new build as well.
All black looks really sweet.

The only cheap looking thing about the case are the power and hard disk LEDs. They're tiny plain red and look very old fashioned. Might be worth swapping at least one of them at some point for a different colour.

Love the USB sockets and buttons on top of the case though, much easier to deal with as the PC is down on the floor next to my desk.
