now onto the issues,

first off i cant find where to put the front 3 usb ports onto the motherboard its labelled 2.0usb3

secondly when i load up the computer it turns on fine, but doesnt show any computer information and says no hard drive detected. however when it boots up both are there,

thirdly im not sure if this is connected but it displays the MSi logo as if in set up mode however you cannot see it clearly due to it being over magnified. Also when trying to setup it freezes. however so far i can use the computer fine.

sorry if this is in the wrong section.

if any one can help thats would be great and if you want to pop over and have a look im happy to pay. ( southsea )

Think thats all.

Thanks , James

ok so i have 2 hard drives, each it seems with its own OS. ..

now the computer cant detect any hard drives yet im using them fine.. its a mess.

the computer works im using it right now

right the build is done everything is as it should be apart from this cable.
i installed the OS up and that seemed to work ok,
now when i turn on the computer it comes up at the start bit with

Hard drive not detected.

then the msi logo comes up and freezes then completes the load and goes to windows fine...

thats about it really .

ok quick edit:

first of all sorry for taking up your time,

so i plugged in said usb 2.0 into suggested port and only 1/3 front usb are working and 1/1 usb 3.0 ( separate source )

the os is installed but i think ive mucked it up and would like to start again, im really sorry ive been looking everywhere for answers cant seem to find any.
tapping f11 wont even load the boot menu sometimes ( am i doing it at the write time )

once again thank you so much for your patience and help, James

Hey para,

No I hadn't was watching a YouTube vid but it hasn't done it again,
I managed to re install the os however now the 2nd hard drive is not showing in my computer but it did in the installation. Could this have anything to do with the cables I used?
I got some White 6gb/s ones and used them rather than thR standard orange one- would that make a difference?

Edit: also I can't get into the bios settings I think my screen is too big?

Yes,
I get:

Drive picture* simple- basic- ntfs- healthy( system, active, primary partition)
And
(C:) simple -basic - ntfs- healthy ( boot, page file, crash dump, primary partition)

ok,
hard to explain the bios bit,

im using a tv 32"

i turn on computer and press Delete which should open the Bios up,
the screen / computer doesnt seem to like each other and the computer displays the msi logo really big, which means you can see the options etc. thus making the bios impossible to use.

in regards to the USB

all rear motherboard USB works perfectly fine with or without ,
when plugged in it only seems to let me use 1/3

i can get one to try tomorrow, using GFX card 6950

there are 4 usbs on the front of the case one is 3.0 the other 3 are 2.0 only one of the 3 front 2.0s work the 3.0 works fine no problems
