so its time im putting my build together and was wondering if i bought a Bitfenix prodigy case with this motherboard would i be able to fit this cooler on to it with a i5 3570k.

Mobo doesnt even fit the case. The prodigy is for mini-itx mobos fella

As above. You will need one of these boards to use that case.
