Hey I am going to be building a new PC in a few weeks, I feel like going for LGA 2011 due to the what I am going to be using this machine for and to somewhat 'futureproof' myself. I could be persuaded to another chipset however. The primary uses of this PC is going to be gaming along with video/photo editing.

Anyway, I have compiled a list of what I have so far:

YOUR BASKET
1 x HIS HD 7970 IceQ X² BOOST 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £359.99
1 x Intel Core i7-3820 3.60GHz (Sandybridge-E) Socket LGA2011 Processor £259.99
1 x BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 2 CPU Cooler£61.99
1 x Asus P9X79 PRO Intel X79 (Socket 2011) DDR3 Motherboard £239.99
1 x NZXT NZXT Phantom 820 Enthusiast Full Tower Case £199.99
1 x Akasa Venom 850w '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply £89.99
1 x Samsung 128GB SSD 840 PRO SATA 6Gb/s Basic £109.99
2 x Corsair Vengeance RED 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-15000C9 1866MHz Dual Channel Kit £131.98

Total : £1,453.31

I don't need a disk drive and will be buying a new monitor, keyboard and mouse. I also already have hard-drives at my disposal but would like a new SSD. I was also looking at buying a GTX 770 which I may buy instead of a 770.

1 x Gainward GeForce GTX 770 Phantom 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £419.99

I was also looking at getting a higher end processor but have heard that there will be new 2011 processors releasing in the semi-near future so I may upgrade then. The RAM and SSD is something i'm indecisive about too. I was looking at this RAM bundle as an alternative.

1 x Samsung Green 16GB £123.98

Any suggestions you could give me would be a great help, thanks.
