Got this as a present from the GF

Here is the work station

Opening the box I find crap loads of this [here you can see the piston arms, cylinders (which are in halfs), and the rocker arms]

This just shows the assembly of the crankshft. Few hours afterward I get the two sprockets to attatch the camshaft which will turn the cambelt and release the valve stems for exhaust gas.

Clear instructions

I managed to put the cylinders together in sync with the crankshaft in the engine which was a pain. It took ages to do and required a lot of patience and gluing. In the end I'm left with (it isn't finished yet!)

The following is the assembly of the exhaust and intake manifolds

Stuff to do:
- Wait for the exhaust and intake assembly to dry (just glued it together)
- Install the rocker arms
- Fit the cylinder heads ontop of the engine
- Install the water pump and cambelt assembly
- Install the intake air filter
- Paint the base Ferrari Gloss Red

So far I'm impressed with the way it's coming out.

Water doesn't make the whole thing move. It's a hand crank at the rear of the engine which you rotate anti-clockwise to make everything move - including the water pump.

Looks very cool mate, does it have any moving parts at all? Can you put water in it and see it in action or anything?

Oh... and I'm not sure I'm right, but I love the "Clean Your Room" message on your whiteboard... if that is what it says :p

Everything moves via a hand crank. But the water pump impellar blades do move but water doesn't go in it. The entire thing shows how everything works in sync to get the front or rear tyres moving in a car. :)

And thanks to my brother for the "clean your room" message :p

I used to get high off that plastic glue that you have there.

...not intentionally mind you. Not opening windows and sitting there building 200 Eldar Guardians in a small room will do that..
