if the mounting holes for the cooler are "square" then just turn it, you may have to move the ram sticks to the next colour slots.

does that bracket that actually applies pressure on the heatsink fit rotated?

You need the memory in white slots as the board probably wont boot in the blue slots.

Ive got a titan Fenrir, it is a bit of a pain to fit at times but the fan should be facing the RAM sticks. And as Stulid says you will need to move the ram along to the next slots to fit it in.

before i install the cooler which im doing now will i use a little pea size of thermal paste or spread and how long to wait
