Hello all. I have a budget of £800 - which has to include a monitor and OS. Main use is for gaming, eg black ops, skyrim latest RTS games. Want to crank up the settings to high/ultra on a 21" inch monitor.

Not really an AMD fan, so it has to be Intel. Also, I dont really see my self overclocking, so if that could be factored into the build, that would be great.

I don't mind a top end i7 (old gen) build as they could easily run games for the next 2-3 years, but sandy bridge would be nice.

Much appreciated!!! :)

Ah no I'm not going for an AMD. I've had rubbish experiences with them in the past. Every time I got an Intel, there wasn't much of an issue. Sounds like fanboy talk but I guess its like marmite, you love it or hate it!

Any comments about the spec I posted? Much appreciated for the help. I know I said I wasn't going to overclock, but If I buy a CPU Cooler now and an unlocked CPU, avoids hassle in the future!

But that i7 build posted by Redmint looks awfully strong :D No idea what I should do...
