Hello there, i'm not the brightest when it comes to building computer rigs so i thought id post here and get some professional help. Im going to be building a new pc hopefully and i would like to know if the build ive made will fit together and work like clock work.

If you can see anything wrong with the build please feel free to help, also if you cant save me any money that would be much appreciated.

Ive been told to also ask if the mother board supports PCI-express 2.1, as the gfx card uses that.

Thank you for you help in advace.

Hello temp welcome to the forums. A few questions to make it easier for me to help you.

1. Is this going to be for gaming ? General use ? Video editing :)

2. What is your maximum budget.

Everything looks good,Well we could save some money by getting a triple core athlon (from a competitor) or a dual depending on what you want to do.....I would get the Samsung F3 500gb instead of WD one and if you wanna save some money you could just keep the stock cooler and then you will have no need for the freezer

basically i want a rig for gaming that will be able to handle upcoming games. I was planning on not overclocking. My budget would be 500-600 at the most.

The total comes to around £567 to £580 excluding postage.

The advantage of the Crossfire capable motherboard is that you could add another HD5770 1GB at a later date to get performance around that of an HD5870:

Build 3 looks a decent setup, but I would say paying the extra £10 for the HD5770 Vapor-X would be worthwhile ;)
