Is it worth going for 2400mhz rams if they have voltage >1.5 and i7 4790k should run 1.5?
Avexir Golden Blitz 16GB - The brand doesn't appear in many builds(?)

EVGA SuperNova G2 750W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply £89.99 - wouldn't it be better to go into 1k for future?

SK Hynix 256GB SSD SH910A SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Drive (HFS256G32MNB-2201A) £84.98 - again this one looks a bit noname (?) Wonder what quality it has.

With regards to screen im mostly after 24" Still not sure if I should go into 27" and/or sacrifice 144mhz..

Fast RAM is usually 1.65V, that voltage is safe to use and tested by manufacturers.

750W is plenty for SLI GTX970, 850W for GTX980s, a single card of either needs a good 550W PSU.

EVGA is made by Superflower and has a 10year warranty.

SKhynix are a huge memory manufacture, you usually find their RAM on gfx cards.

Out of curiosity some people said that I should go into DDR4 (swap cpu for 5820k or something and go with X99 mb).. but again opinions are mixed. What do you think about it?

For gaming a Z97+4790K will be quicker.

4GHz as standard (turbos upto 4.4GHz on a single core) the 5820K is not as quick even tho it has more cores as games cannot utilize them all.

I will stick to DDR3 ...

A follow up question. So im still confused with 2400mhz ram and i7 4790k CPU.
Apparently I only need to go to bios and set XMP and it will all work?

Some people state that this is unstable/safe(?)
Some people say it will significantly increase CPU temps (?)
It will decrease CPU lifespan (?)
It will void CPU warranty (?)

I am thinking about g.skill trident-x 2400mhz CAS 10.

With regards to CPU.. Is there any change for instability? Some people mention "weak IMC" and need to increase system agent voltage..

Not to sure what you referring to,

But these are all 2400MHz kits which is I suppose "average" for a Haswell/DC CPU, its RAM like 2666/2800Mhz+ that are harder to use and rely on a good CPU with a good memory controller.
