Hi

Sorry to be a pain but I've changed my build as I had a couple of suggestions about the last one. I was using OC's PC builder so I was restricted in what changes I could make. Anyway, I've now decided to build myself a pc using:

Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound @ 7.04
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler @ 17.61
Logitech G15 Rev.2 Keyboard - Retail @ 55.21
Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit Edition DVD - OEM @ 70.49
OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C4 800MHz Reaper @ 70.49
Samsung SpinPoint F1 750GB SATA-II 32MB Cache - OEM @ 76.36
Asus P5K Premium/WiFi-AP Intel P35 @ 121.01
Enermax Infiniti 720W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU @ 126.89
Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - OEM @ 137.46
Coolermaster RC-1100 Cosmos S "Sport" @ 152.74
HIS ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2 1024MB @ 258.49

Total 1093.79

Just over £100 cheaper than the previuos build.

Is the PSU OK if I wanted crossfire later?
Any other comments re components or compatability appreciated.

Cheers
S

PSU is fine. You could swap the mobo for the non premium to save a few quid (I have the non premium, cant fault it apart from the onboard Jmicron controller which has been disabled).

i would go asus maximus forumla and get a tuniq tower as the cpu cooler.
i would also buy the retail q6600 in this week only if you buy before TWO changes
