My eldest son got one for Christmas, it's great. Very detailed and helped him learn a lot about how engines work. The spark plugs light up when they 'fire', and the valves etc open and shut realistically and in time with the pistons. The engine 'works' in the sense that it takes batteries and is driven by a motor.....

It was even a PITA to set the cam timing and ignition timing, just like a real engine :eek:

It's probably a non-interference engine ;)

It's an interference engine, there is valve-to-piston action of you get the timing wrong :(

Could make a useful training aid actually.

LOL, the CI in me thinking out loud. They took the handle off my engine cut-away! apparently it's not safe. :(
 
Can anyone find any other "Kits" but more better ?

Im interested in this kinda stuff and looking around for some but cant seem to find any.
