What are the chances that i will have loads of problems with building my computer with it not starting up, and hardware problems, ram faults, overheating etc. Im not sure whether to just buy a good pre-built high end computer with no hassel of all this.

Just want some opinions :).

It very easy to build a PC, im sure with some help from ppl on forums like this you will be okay.

As for pre-built, its not a bad idea, but I say, avoid out of the box PC's like the plague. Go for something like these pre-built custom.

If you build it yourself then you learn from experience, but saying that when I made my first build I never had a problem.

the only problems i have with building some comps is it wont boot up :P or power on properly i always forget about some thing simple :P

my current build i forgot to plug the 4 pin plug into my main board for power but easily fixed by plugging it in :P

In all honesty, it's really not all that difficult. Think of a jigsaw puzzle with about 8 or so pieces.

If you take your time, you shouldnt have any problems.

Some of the fine tuning aspects such as 'how much thermal paste do i put on' and other bios settings etc only come with experience, but these things certainly dont stop the thing working atall :)

Just make sure you connect the case to your motherboard. :)

9.64% :D

Seriously rewarding experience. If anything doesn't work, we'll help you or you can RMA it back to OCuk or the manufacturer.

If you go mainstream you are guaranteed either a compromised PC or a rip-off, and chances are, both. You'll be amazed how much quicker a machine made with the correct components is, compared to those made by the mainstream suppliers. I don't blame then, they have profits to make and you won't make a lot of money selling people cool running boxes powered by Corsair/Seasonic/Enermax PSUs with fast RAM, OC'd out of the box, with great DX10 graphics, if they are only going to check their e-mail!
