Building a new PC. Before I buy these components, any glaring errors?

Hello, I'm building a new PC mainly for gaming with a budget of £800-£1000. This is what I'm thinking of buying;

Motherboard

I'm also cannibalising the HDDs and DVD drives/burner from my old PC and using its 24" monitor.

I'd go for this motherboard instead (or this if you want to stick with Gigabyte). Everything else looks great.

If you plan on overclocking then getting a good CPU would be a good idea. Also, do you need an operating system?

Hm, okay i'll go for that motherboard instead.

I do eventually plan on overclocking the CPU, maybe to 4.0ghz, but I'll most likely need a better fan.

Also I plan to use XP (which I still have the discs to) and buying 7 when it comes out of beta.

If you're after a quiet hard drive don't go for the f3.

Just looked at one of the reviewers opinion :

'It appears they may not have Acoustic management on automatically(AAM) -google this and you can download a program from samsung website ES-Tool and can adjust AAM-becomes quieter'

extra 30 quid or so will get you the sapphire 4890 2gb version which also has more display connectors including hdmi.

Or for an extra 20 quid again he could get a brand new 5850.

Or you could just stick with the excellent card you have already picked.
