Hello, I'm building a new PC mainly for gaming with a budget of £800-£1000. This is what I'm thinking of buying;

Motherboard
GA-MA770T-UD3P

Processor
Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition 3.20GHz
http://overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-244-AM
I heard the stock fan is somewhat poor, what would be an acceptable upgrade?

GPU
Sapphire Radeon ATi 4890 1GB

RAM
2x2 GB ddr3.

PSU
Corsair 650W Power Supply

Case
SilverStone Fortress
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-055-SV

HDD
Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache

As well as a few extra SATA cables.
I'm also cannibalising the HDDs and DVD drives/burner from my old PC and using its 24" monitor.

Hm, okay i'll go for that motherboard instead.

I do eventually plan on overclocking the CPU, maybe to 4.0ghz, but I'll most likely need a better fan.

Also I plan to use XP (which I still have the discs to) and buying 7 when it comes out of beta.

If you're after a quiet hard drive don't go for the f3.

------Edit-----

Just looked at one of the reviewers opinion :

'It appears they may not have Acoustic management on automatically(AAM) -google this and you can download a program from samsung website ES-Tool and can adjust AAM-becomes quieter'

/goes off to try it.

Alright, thanks for the help. I'll buy this with the new mother board and perhaps the different GPU if I have any money left over.
