Hello there I have never built a pc and this will be my first time so I need a little advice on parts. I have found a few parts but am wondering if these are good. The parts are as follows:

Motherboard MSI P67A-GD55 Motherboard
Processor Intel i5 2500k Sandy Bridges
Memory Corsair Memory XMS3 4GB DDR3 1600 MHz CAS 9 XMP Dual Channel Desktop
Graphics Radeon HD 6870
Storage Samsung 1Tb Spinpoint F3 Hard Drive - HDD
Optical Lite On DVD Writer, IHAS124-19, SATA, Black, OEM
Power Corsair CMPSU-650TX 650W
Case Coolermaster Storm Scout Black Mid Tower Computer Case

So if you think I can get better for money etc. My budget is around £700-800 so ye also is building pc's easy etc.?

different ram and psu and HDD, and a case with lots of room, I seem to remember someone had the scout case and couldn't fit a certain ATI card in it.

If it's for gaming you could always replace the Processor with an i5 series chip and upgrade your graphics card by the remaining £50-60. Much as I like SandyBridge, in gaming the graphics card holds a lot more water than the processor does.

So is this improvements for my money yes? If so that does look pretty insane tbh :D

These specs are i5? or do you mean the slower/older 760 cpu?

yes, the XFX has more pci-e connectors than the corsair, and is still built by a quality OEM.

the ram is a little cheaper, same speed and timings.

HDD is a smidge cheaper, just as fast.

The case is quality/bargain
