it's not fanboy for amd at the moment they just give more bang for your buck so if your on a budget they are nice

A while back AMD cards had horrendous driver support and a lot of issues, thats pretty much done with now, and as said above, AMD currently are the better cards for power per pound spent, simples really. If you have excess cash and dont really have to adhere to a strict budget then Nvidia is probably the smartest option, however if you are on a budget and want to maximise performance for pound spent then AMD gpu's are generally the best choice.
