Building a new pc which i plan to keep for at least 18 month to 2 years and thought of this build

i was looking for a good GFX and atm 8 GB of system memory
main activity i use this machine for is gaming and folding on the side
anything i can do to improve it or does it look ok
budget £1000 (can go +-£100)
don't need monitor or case

you dont need a sound card, the onboard HD audio is very good.

if you fold, then a Nvidia card is superior http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/graphics/2010/08/05/what-is-the-best-graphics-card-for-folding/1

if you picked something like a GTX470, it will also be a better gaming pc too with better minimum frame rates to keep game play smooth, http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/164?vs=160

then just drop the motherboard to a non crossfire one(870 or 880G chipset) to offset the price difference between the two graphics cards.
