nice spec so far mate - but perhaps change your mind from corsair H60 and keep your Noctua NHD14 with one viper fan because it much better lol !

also how about going for MY-290-CS memory over gskill memory? i remember you are a flight sim player so the extra memory would be much better for you. can never have too much ram mate !

I see OcUK have guaranteed OC 4.8GHz 2500K 1155 Sandybridge chip , maybe you can webnote and maybe rjkoneill rich can find you cherry 2600k 1155 Sandybridge chipset CPU better than his 5.3GHz at 1.4 V !

I am going to put on hold for this week, see if there any more offer and yes I do play FSX but (not anymore) switch over to x plane 9 (waiting for the release of x plane 10) far better than microsoft flight simulator x. I might get another Noctua NHD14 because my Antec 1200 with i7 920 @ 4.20GHz as I am keeping it will give to my daughter.

I will try MY-290_CS memory. Can you sent me Private Message if the spec is ok for sandybridge or shall I go for specialist ocuk gaming case instead and let you built for me for excellent 4.60/4.70GHz overclocked. Thanks Rjk.

Is there any chance of it rjk ? Oh sorry my mistake, it wasn't K version, so it not unlocked and it also no 8 Threading cores either. So, I stick with i7 2600K.

we are not providing speed binned 2600k cpus at the moment. all of them do 4.8 pretty much and they 2500k is more popular because it better priced.

do you actually need 4 cores 8 thread bulldog? the 2500k is really fast when clocked to 4.5ghz+
what do you use that takes advantage of multi threads?
if i were you i would go for a noctua nhd14 with one viper fan, it has been proven to work well for you and would allow a lot of headroom on sandybridge.

we could probably spec something up for you as a custom build but you would be better building yourself as you have gained a lot of experience and your testing is superb

This one work out cheaper for me to add the bundle together with my need but got question to ask rjk, can ocuk swap Noctua NHD14 instead of Corsair A50 and get rid of Artic Silver 5 Thermal Compound (I rather to have this one: IC Diamond 7-Carat Thermal Compound instead. I already got a viper fans here (1 spare here)

That a very good question here. But I thought HyperThreading is help alots and better for video and photo editing ?

Where can I put 1 viper fan (in the middle or the front) as there are middle and front of Noctua D14 to put fan on it.

At the moment my current Antec 1200 i7 920@ 4.2Ghz was two viper fans in the middle and the front of Noctua D14 and it was very good quiet with 1485RPM at just 73C for 4.20Ghz at 1.296V

Nah, I like Noctua D14 the best beauty air cooler by miles ahead! Thanks for tip.

Yes that right, after 24 hours prime95 passed, and linx passed after 100 times. All stable at 73C at the time of this year! In winter was 69C!

Right guy, I had finally made my final decision to go for this spec below as this is the far more reasonable sensible price as most of it are including special offer price this week only and I think the graphic card and power supply is more than enough.
