I was just watching a movie when the little Burmese kitten started jumping up in the air doing ninja moves on a 2inch flying cockroach that was legging it across the room like a headless chicken - scared the hell out of me, so I caught the miniature tank and went to take him outside.... now it was here that I am most thankful, and thank goodness the light shown on the door handle... I saw this:
A Queen Bull Ant.



These suckers have a nasty sting in their tail thats loaded with venom, those nippers are for getting a good grip of their attacker or pray, they usually attack in large groups and are the most aggressive and feared ant in Australia. Which is why I loaded half a can of nerve gas onto him
I've never seen a queen though and the fact this thing could potentially kill my kitten is a problem, like Tree Wasps they do leave a scent once killed to alert other Bull ants near by, which is why I had to dispose of this monster rather sharpish.
