Either way I'm haooy with my Sandy Bridge CPU. It will be interesting to see what Bulldozer is actually like. Barely heard anything about it since when it was mentioned earlier this year.

bulldozer poor performance?

anyone ever thought, ALL of this could be one big stunt AMD are pulling? get everyone thinking bulldozer may be bad/poor then scadoosh, launch day, BD rips bum holes to shreads... meh, suppose we'll have to wait
what a great strategy - get everyone thinking bulldozer is rubbish, settling for SB instead and then when it is released and is fantastic - everyone looking for a new system has already spent all their budget on SB

People need to get a grip, if you send a letter to Bapco these days the address you send it to is........ Intel.
Literally, people have posted mail from Bapco with the return address as Intel's industrial park etc, etc.
Bapco are literally, without question, provably run by Intel, simple as that.
As Nvidia, ARM and AMD IGP's move on to such a large degree that a piddly Llano destroys a 2600k in games because of it, so Bapco essentially removed GPU testing from the benchmarking.
Its run by Intel, to show Intel being the best and EVERYBODY else is bored of it and has left, and everybody else has been complaining about how bad they've been for YEARS, long before Bulldozer. The bigger shift towards APU's and Bapco refusing to acknowledge gpu performance is laughable, Intel ffs, are moving to APU's, with their volume and midrange stuff all being APU's.
BSN, ask them to write you a letter and see where their return address is.....
Maybe even worse than Fud, Fud just post stuff late, and pretend its theres, BSN write completely inaccurate rubbish constantly.

The internet is just a cesspool of inaccurate **** now, the only people who take it seriously are the fanboys of whatever company comes off better from the story (in this case Intel).
Anyone with a brain would dismiss this story as complete and utter rubbish.
