Bulletstorm (FPS, EPIC Games)

I finished it yesterday evening, thought it was brilliant the whole way through. No idea how long it was but I didn't feel short changed.

I'll give it another run through on the hardest difficulty and get all the achievements I missed at some point.

I haven't tried the anarchy mode yet but have been doing some of the echo runs which are quite addictive when you're trying to beat friends scores :p
 
I've been playing it, I'm up to Act 5 chapter 3 and I am enjoying it. It's Gears of War meets Serious Sam on steriods.

I have to stick by my statement and say its an average game but the character dialogue and skillshots are what make this game any fun. The enemies and levels are the same throughout. Cannon fodder, slightly tougher cannon fodder, mini boss - Rinse and repeat. No puzzles to solve or anything that really requires any thought. I'm playing first time through on Very Hard and it's pretty easy so far.

Definitely worth a rent for sure because as I said, it is fun to play.

I'm up to Chapter 3 Act 2 on very hard so far and while overal it is pretty easy, there has been a couple of points where it has stumped me slightly but nothing majorly.

I can't for the love of my get the Skill shot for "shooting someone in the balls and kicking/shooting their head off" They always just end up dying :/
 
Loving this so far :D

Only playing on Normal as I struggled with the aiming for some reason, so want to get used to it first.

However... I had doubts, doubts about playing through it again. But from the mindless fun I have had playing this, I honestly think I will play it through again the moment I finish it :D

Just sheer fun! Lot's of tongue in cheek, over the top, in your face, gruesome fun.

Finished this on Very Hard tonight. Have to say I did enjoy it all the way through and found it pretty easy overall and nowhere near the difficulty of Gears of War on Insane. Some of the dialogue is straight out of Full Metal Jacket, brilliant and without it the game would suffer greatly. It's worth playing for that alone :p
 
Anarchy mode = fun!

Personally found it more interesting than Gears horde mode purely because of the skill shots and the need to beat a score limit to progress. Had a few rounds go down to the final kill and needing to perform a skill shot challenge to get enough points to carry on.

Shame the randoms I've been playing with don't communicate.

This game has grown on me over the last day or two. I didnt think that much of it to begin with but it just great mindless fun, sure the story is a bit meh but its a right blast to play. Exactly what you need after a days work.

Oh trust me, it is! lol, you will find your self playing the usual shoot em up strats then realise you will only get a measly 10 points for it... Then you will go out of your way, put your self in danger simply to get more points!

I am playing through again at the moment on the hardest setting... Very fun game :D Gorgeous to look at as well.
