I just bought this game for my son, it's his birthday in 2 weeks. So would you guys advise me to not let the game update then?

You unlock it in geography class, and there is a good ps2 walkthrough online with all bands etc anyway...

The built in map shows all the bands, all the gnomes, all the G&G cards and all the transitors....... IF you've completed enough Geography Classes

For each Geography Class completed you unlock another item for the map.

never knew that.. i got all the transistors already i got like 70 bands and 35 cards and 23 gnomes all by myself ;D

I'm pretty annoyed with the bugs in this game. I occasionally suffered from the hangs the patch was supposed to fix - but only about three times. The day of the patch, it updates half an hour later I'm staring at a hung 360. Good patch.

So I finish the game - get 100% but the 100% achievement fails to unlock. I had a save just before I got 100% so I go back and try again, still wont unlock. Given up now. Anyone else have problems with achievements not unlocking?

Look in your hideouts in each section of the Bully world (nerds, greasers etc)

Yup, which ****** me off no end. Next time I got into the game, the achievement popped up though.

As for the arcades, the shop at the carnival has all three in a row.

Nah, just time consuming.

Hint: Play once and try to die as quickly as possible. Note down the high score, so that you know when you can stop playing.

As ubernoob says above, there's one in a couple of your hideout/save points (the comic shop for example).
However, the easiest place to play them is inside the souvenior shop at the carnival, as all three arcade machines are there next to each other.
