I am looking for some advice. I wish to build myself a new PC to replace the aging machine I have now. I have never built my own before, so I would appreciate some (a lot of) input as to what to buy.
I can spend about £1000 - £1300 but I need everything: XP, keyboard, mouse, monitor etc.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Righty, this should do ya nicely. I have the E6400, it's a really good CPU for the price. I also have the Lian Li case and Tagan 530W PSU. Both are also excellent. Wasn't too sure on the keyboard and mouse, that'll be your personal preference.

Its built, and it works a treat ^_^
Just wanted to express my appreciation to everyone on these boards that helped me, both with the specs and with the troubleshooting I needed in other threads to get the thing going.
Thank you!
