Think Fudzilla are a bit over excited this morning! Interesting if true.
I'm wondering if the 2900XT really needed a 512MB bus or if it was just overkill. If ATI have made enough changes to the card to fully support DX10.1 might they not do better under DX10 grenerally? It looks like they're killing off R600 in a hurry. I'm wondering if that's becuase they've realised that they're never going to get particularly good DX10 performance out of it and are ushering in a replacement PDQ.
It would be interesting to see ATI take a feature set lead over nVIDIA again. That's not really been the case since the 9700Pro.
