bungee mod

I am about to try the bungee mod as my hdd is so damn noisy and i think im going to have to remove my hdd completely (unplug and remove form case) as i have little or no room to move in my case, so was just wondering if there are any do's and dont's when removing the hdd for a short time. Am i just ok to turn of system unplug from mains unbolt hddd from mounts and simply unplug from all attached sockets do mod and reverfse procces? thanks for any replies/help.

yes, switch off your pc and remove the hard drive, then install the hard drive and switch the pc back on again

just done the mod hdd now seems perfectly silent

really didn't think this would work as well as it has. quick question there is a small section of exposed green board on the underside of the hdd, does any one no if this will get hot? as my cord is touching this no way round it either cheers j

Its fine. It will not get anywhere near hot enough for anythign at all. Nominal temp is around 30-40 degrees.

Bungee mod always worked great on raptors!
