Do you realise in terms of alertness, it has been concluded we are divided into three status - Red, amber and blue. Those in the blue zone tend to not knoew what to do when faced with situation like you mentioned. People like police, military men on war front etc are usually in Red mode and will make a decision without even thinking about it when confronted with such action. I have been involve in situation similar to yours but by the logic given in that book, it would appear im in an Amber mode - it apparently take plenty of time and training to be in the red mode/zone all the time.

I got no problems with it. They want equal rights then they get them. I'd kick the crap into a guy (or keyboard warrior him to death

I don't think I could ever bring myself to actually end someone's life especially over stealing. If I caught them in my house I would restrain them until the police came, I wouldn't go overboard and kick the crap out of them because then I would end up with a criminal record and it's just not worth it over such a piece of scum.

Think theres a bit of a difference between being annoyed at the burglar and killing them tbh. Not many people would commit murder over it (I hope...), the situation might arise if said burglar was not only stealing but was armed and you had a deadly weapon with you. I expect most people would like to inflict some injury though, whether they would or not in reality is questionable. Depends what your like

Smash them round the knee caps as hard as possible.

In fact, I'd probably sneak up on them with a video camera so I had evidence they were stealing things. Then, I'd beat them.

nope, I wouldn't kill them, The change in law is a good step. You can now protect yourself if you feel threatened. He's in my house uninvited, yep I feel threatened. Just snap his spin just above the waist. Or knock him out with a very heavy object.

Best bet is to drag them to an upstairs window then throw them out.

Then when the police come say that he was climbing out of the window and you tried to pull him back in, but infortunately he fell
