Burning a cd image onto a dvd?

Can you burn a cd image onto a dvd so that you can install the application faster?

There is no reason a cd image (iso) cannot be burnt to a dvd but i dont think it would be any faster. mount the image using daemon tools is probably the fastest way to install from an image as hard drive to hard drive is faster than cd or dvd to hard drive.

i have done it before but nero only let me do it cause the file was too big for cd

Alcohol 120% asks you if you want to burn to DVD if it detects a DVD capable burner.

What isn't an option?

You originally asked if you could burn a CD image to a DVD, which you can, but would be faster mounting to a virtual drive.

You are now saying you are backing up a program? Which would suggest you don't have an image?
