I don't seem to be able to burn a DVD :(

I've tried a few times and keep getting "Files waiting to be written to disk "

I've tried imgburn and freeisoburner it's a it annoying

I'm just trying to burn an Iso image

HELP !

Have you tried ejecting the disc once your at that stage? If memory serves it should pop up about finalizing the disk.

It seemed the computer was trying to put and extra file on there. I deleted the file by right clicking and selecting delete before turning the computer off and it seemed to work ok now.

Thanks for replying though

I really like imgburn, it works so well with all of my iso's and even data files. I like that it has a lot of options & a easy to use Wizard. Glad you fixed your issue

Another third party freeware app that is useful is CDBurnerXP. I still use it to this day when authoring simple CD/DVDs. Nero 10 for making DVDs using existing video files.

Burning disks to transfer to my retro PC, so I checked this thread for advice as I am genuinely out of touch!

My main PC seems content with CDBurnerXP. :)

I'm currently using a USB burner and still expect a lot of coasters (as back in the day). So far all is going well!

It's a bit of a blast from the past! I forgot to finalise.:D

Not sure and might be a false alarm, but Malwarebytes did not like imgburn?
