Bit off topic, but what spec laptop are you using to play wow. i use to play a lot, now with work i find im limited to 2-3 hours at the weekend. A laptop that could play it would be great, but not sure how good to get it, if you know what i mean.

As for TBC, its great, the quest where you fly a griffin mount and throw bombs is great fun!!!

Ive just bought a top of the line gaming laptop, 2.33 core2duo, 7950gtx, 2gb ram.

Ive tried running it before on my daughters pc with radeon 9800 and it looked rubbish (well compared to how it looked for me, she was happy enough), so i guess it depends what you could put up with, my friend plays it happily with his apple and onboard graphics, each to their own though.
