Company car due for change and been offered 2.0 diesel mondeo or 1.5 diesel Focus estates.

I've said I want the mondeo hybrid to try and keep car tax to a minimum.

They've asked me to put a business case forward for it.

Read recently about a green car claim back system for companies.

Can anyone help with this?

Most places when they mention a business simply mean how much money will it save them so rather than saying good for the env etc.. which you can always use to backup your case try and get some evidence if going hybrid will actually save them some money.

I used information here and various other googlings for our business case. Basically include the benefits to the company first, then what it also does for the employee.

Other things to mention. Hybrids should have a better re-sale value at the end of the lease, as diesels become less desirable. Which should mean a lower lease cost, than an equivalent diesel.

In the end our company changed its policy from diesel only, to now allowing both, but eventually it will be hybrid only.
