JB has or is going to aske for the same contract as Lewis in that if he(lewis) wins the WDC 3 times he gets a very rare F1 Mclaren rd car.

A freind of mine who used to work at Honda/Brawn/Mercedes told me they only had 3 working chassis when he took me to goodwood with him last year.

Of the 6 Built (according to the quote) at least one of them will have been used for crash testing so maybe they only had 3 working cars and a couple of spare tubs.

I'm surprised Brawn/Mercedes tried to go back on a contract clause like this. Especially as Button was loyal to the team and took a hefty paycut to keep Brawn alive.

I'm surprised that this isn't a more common occurence; F1 champs wanting a chassis they won a title in as a prize.

If his contract said a chassis that was used in the title winning season then I would say a replica is a step back from what his contract entitles him to.
