I have my birthday in may and I am wondering if the prices of ssd will go down at all over the year? If not i might buy one quite soon.

It's a bit of an unknown at the moment. NAND prices started to flatten out over Christmas but from what we've heard this morning they're due to rise again.
On the other hand new technology could bring the cost down. I guess it just depends how much you want one. If you want something current then likelyhood of it dropping is quite slim.
