Have a look at the site and tell me what you think.

In a nutshell, the cars are crash repaired, some are categorised, some are HPI clear, all are very cheap.

Would anyone here consider buying a car from there if the right car at the right price turned up?

A good example is the Alfa Romeo GT Coupe V6. Its virtually brand new and priced at £13995.

If I were buying a car to run into the ground I'd certainly consider it, but if I were to only keep it for a few years then I'd look elsewhere to save hassle when selling and losing lots of cash.

I wouldn't trust any company where they cant spell or talk properly. On the editorial the MD talks about 'floors' instead of 'flaws' in a TV program...

rofl yes that is somewhat worrying. I guess the principal of their business is that they get their stock at cheap prices because they aim to shift more units than they could do if they were buying them and repairing and then retailing. However, I would be a little wary...

If they were easily repairable they would do it themselves and sell the cars for more cash.

They could simply be relying on throughput and the easy buck of literally shifting them, and not want or have the facilities to repair the vehicles :)

could be ok

Around 5 years ago I found a TVR Cerbera in Exchange & Mart for £5500. It needed a new wiring loom and interior following a loom fire from the engine bay. It was snapped up pretty quick. Dont really get to see anything like that anymore. :(

EDIT: and holy carp is all I can say here

I'm not sure about their definition of 'light grp damage' on this TVR Tuscan

Every damn panel has taken a beating!

TBH id just drive that around as is, while it would be expensive to repair its hardly damage that will affect the car

hmm depends, you dont know the nature of the accident so it might have messed up the whole geometry of the car and affect how it drives. Also you wouldnt be able to put anything in the boot because it will get opened.

I would go for the TVR T350 which is the same price. ;) How expensive could a steering rack be?

The red Alfa GT does look very nice.

But there must be more then meets the eye to this one as the bash only looks minor.

Then again they do devalue quick ish.

To have written it off I would assume its a lot more than an alloy and a steering rack .

I love the way if its front end damage the inital photo is from the back etc etc

Looks like you could do a reasonable job fixing that fibreglass on your own, wouldn't be perfect but for a few hundred who cares, you get a Tuscan.

If you can go have a look and get a real idea from the damage, then yes I would consider buying a car from them.

To purchase a single genuine alloy would probably cost more than my MR2 is worth :o :D
