Buyers Remorse?

The launch lines ups sucked for both consoles just give it time until some good games are released I'm waiting until next year to buy PS4.

Last time I had buyer remorse I waiting 5 hours for my plane ending up buying PSP sold it when I got back to England lol

Bought a vita last month and 64gb mem card, not touched it since! Although I mainly bought it for remote play so will have to wait and see.

no idea why you bought it, you spent weeks/months trashing everything about it, why are you surprised its not lived up to your expectation?

no buyers remorse for me, bought the console and 3 extra games, loving fifa and forza, kids love zoo tycoon, its exceeded my estimation, especially fifa,

I was just ****ing about, I thought it was pretty obvious with all the eyes bleeding talk :)

Perhaps that's why, don't like sport games and prefer RPG. Like I said just initial gut reaction, will have to use for at least a month before any conclusions.

I have a slight remorse for buying Forza 5 Steelbook Edition and the bloody season pass thing. The game just isnt grabbing me like the last one at the moment.

I decided on the PS4 a little while ago (the extra horsepower it has over the XB is just insane!) but I was VERY tempted with the XB just because it was first out! (and Forza looked great!). Just really glad I held out :D

Disappointed with both game line-ups tbh, but I'm hoping NFS/NBA2k14 and Resogun give me pleasure for a few months til more games arrive

I'm embarrassed for you.
im embarrassed for you!! you were never happy with the console and what it was providing yet you spent over 600 notes on something you never had high hopes for :roll eyes: it's like those ppl who **** of apple then buy there products :p you knew what you were buying and how much it was going to cost if your not happy sell it.

Better than dropping 600 on the latest overpriced fashion phone, but no the software just isn't there yet to warrant the buy in price.

I was thinking of a similar thread. I haven't pre-ordered anything but I wonder after all this time of people wanting the next gen, would it have been better all round if they had waited another year and with it better hardware. I Still haven't even bought the last of us :(

I'm so glad I cancelled my PS4 pre-order and got a Wii U instead. For £300 I got a Wii U and 4 games (including Wind Waker and Mario 3D World pre-order) and I still saved £50 from the PS4 (console only!)

I'm going to wait a year or more until some decent and worthwhile games come out on the next-gen consoles. PC + Wii U will easily keep me happy until then.

I'd feel the same had I bought one of the new consoles, not because I'm not interested in one, but because there are so few games out that it's a lot of money to spend just to play a single game.

I'm not interested in the Xbox One, but I will at some point get a PS4 when some more games that I am interested in playing are out.

Anyone having buyers remorse with next gen consoles?

No, none at all.

Why? Because I knew what I was buying, after all we have had months of knowing the spec and launch titles.

You seem to feel hard done by, what were you expecting for £430 ....you realise a half decent PC will set you back around 2k+.

I am a gamer and will enjoy both the Xbox One and the PS4, along with my PC, guilt free!

Not really, depends what you consider decent. Subjective at best. If your happy playing with 1080p 24 inch monitors then yes around £1k is doable, for me that is not PC gaming, so 2k is the ball park for a decent modern PC.

That's still incorrect. You don't HAVE to spend that much for a "half decent" PC, it's also not worth adding the cost of a monitor in to the price either, as you don't add the cost of your TV to the price of a console.

I have remorse for not realising this was a thread from crater and clicking on it anyway and seeing more of his trolling BS.

We get it MS suck and Sony are going to deliver the gaming second coming.

I've had great fun playing on my Xbox one this weekend and I'm happy you are unhappy with your if you really have one. you spent 4 months moaning how crap it looked then bought it and you think its crap? seriously.

I'm annoyed at myself for even replying to this.

Erm, I aren't adding the cost of monitors to the price. I am saying modern PC gaming is not played at 1080p. To game beyond 1080p you need multiple GFX cards and decent hardware, thus 2k is a good ballpark figure.

I game at 1440p and my PC didn't cost £2,000, even including my monitor.

Anyway Crater, I don't see why anyone would have buyers remorse especially you. You had very low expectations anyway, how can you be disappointed? Also as has been said you could just sell it and not lose a penny.

"Erm" then why are you insisting you need to spend so much?

You don't need to spend £2000 on just the hardware, that's ludicrous.

To play games at above 1080P, you DO NOT need multiple graphics cards, and you seem to think "decent" means "high end", it doesn't.

You could spend £1000 or less to play games at 2560x1440.
