Need to get a new compact.
Knowing something about photography and cameras I prefer buying a camera with decent MP, 6 or so, but with quality optics (leica, Carl Zeiss etc)
No point in buying 10MP if the camera has poor optics. (Can be compared to buying a NV FX5200 with 256mb ram)
I found one which looks interesting, it is the Panasonic Lumix FX3 which has 6MP, Leica optics and fetches from £140 online and about £199 on the high street.
Anyone have experience of the Lumix series?
