Buying a Domain/Affordable Hosting with PHP and MySQL Support.

Yep 123-REG are the best in my opinion for domain registration as for Hosting...
Well I have 7 of my clients sites running on Racksense.com £50 per year for 250mb with php and mysql.

Really friendly people to deal with, great tech support and prompt in all accounts.

Just my feelings others may differ.

Streamline Unlimited £68 for 2 years of web hosting (everything supported, PHP, MYSQL ect, unlimited storage space and unlimited data transfer ;)

Also includes a free .co.uk domain!!!!
The 'Power' package looks pretty good? And it's only £48 for two years

Plus a Free UK domain AND 10 email addresses!

Would that price include ownership of the domain for two years too? It's not a hidden charge or anything...

What if I bought the domain from another company, would I still be able to get Streamlinenet to host it for me?

Or am I just complicating things :D

If you register a domain with them, YOU OWN IT not them!

You can register the domain with any company and just get them to host!

I've read the faq ect on there website :) because i too will be registering a domain and getting hosting.

//edit here you go

"We provide great value domain name registration prices!

This is a Domain Parking service and is perfect if you are looking to protect a domain with a view to adding hosting at a later date. Hosting can be added to your domain at any point via your account control panel after ordering. All domains are registered in your name. Therefore you are the registered legal owner of the domains you buy - not us. :)

Check out www.vidahost.com Sam. It seems perfect or your usage and is cheap @ £29 for a year. 20 emails I got with my package, 350MB space (enough for a personal user on the smaller package) and believe me, support is excellent.

If you need that bit more, the medium is great. Free domain with it too (.co.uk/.com and others).

They are on ochostreview and are one of the top recommended (about 30 appraisals).
