Buying a new monitor

Hi all,

I'm looking for a new monitor which I intend to predominately use for gaming. I'm looking at a 3440 x 1440 at 144Hz with an IPS panel type and G-SYNC enabled?

Can you guys recommend anything?

I have also been looking at these two monitors:

Dell S2417DG - which I plan to buy 2 off but only use one for gaming
or
Dell Alienware AW3418DW?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Acer predator X34P had it a few weeks now and I can't fault it and it ticks all the boxes .

I've just got my AW3418DW and absolutely love it.

They currently cut their prices to 799 now so better hurry and take advantage of this price cut!

The new LG ones with nanoIPS if you are interested in 3440x1440

Said monitor does not yet exist, X34P or the Alienware at 120hz are the closest you'll get at present. Love my X34P, can recommend.

Another vote for the X34P here as well. Ultrawide for the win.

I think you'll be happy with either of the X34P or the AW3418DW to be honest!

Dell is a very safe good choice. But why buy two if you're only going to use one for gaming? Get one gaming monitor and one non-gaming monitor.

Is the AW3418DW doable off a single 1080 ? or would the AW3418HW be better ?

The DW would def be a better longer-term investment imo, and Gsync would help a great deal.
