Hi guys, i have an item im wanting to buy on ebay, is it possible to pay by a credit or debit card if the seller takes paypal?

Im a complete noob when it comes to paypal, i used it before but i remember it took ages to transfer money from my bank into paypal, so i just got rid of it altogether. So yeah, basically can i pay like i would in any other online shop simply by entering card details etc?

Cheers for any input :)

Edit - Its not a trader or shop btw, just an individual if that makes any difference.

if you register your credit card with your paypal account the bill wil appear on your credit card statement

I no longer have a paypal account though. Im basically trying to see if i hit the buy button, will i be taken to a payment page where i can put in card details and pay there and then? Or do i need paypal in order to buy from private sellers on ebay?

AFAIK, you can use cards through paypal without creating an account.

some not a lot offer postal order or other options to pay it should say payment methods in the listing

i would not advise giving details to anyone other than paypal can you not set up a new account ?

You don't need to set up an account.

1: Buy Item
2: Click "pay now" button.
3: Check the "pay via paypal" radio button.
4: Click confirm.
5: You'll be taken to a paypal page, check it's security credentials and then just enter your card details as you would any other site.
6: Profit?
