Definitely some bargains on FB, also more dodgy or broken crap with little comeback.
Good point, guess you do not have the same protection as you do with eBay, as a buyer.?

There's no protection on FB like there is with Ebay and CEX.Good point, guess you do not have the same protection as you do with eBay, as a buyer.?
Quite right, but not everything will show up in a 10 minute test. I bought an electronics item from there which appeared fine on inspection, he showed me it working, but then later found out the battery wasn't charging properly. You're absolutely correct in saying it's great for prices but after having being burnt on there I'd rather go for the 30 day money back guarantee on Ebay etc (I think CEX do a year guarantee but they are the most expensive).Advantage with Facebook is you can often meet in person and try it.

That's good to know, they are 1 of the most expensive though when it comes to second hand goods. I think Ebay is a nice middle ground because you get 30 days guarantee, faults will show up by then, and the prices are still pretty competitive, not as low as FB prices but not as high as CEX either. But yeh if you want that extra peace of mind then CEX is a great option.Five years warranty wuth CEX, can be better than when an item was bought new.!

@Vimes I've just looked on Ebay there are Quest 3S's starting at £162 on Buy It Now listings, you'd get mixed reality mode with and the better panels, better GPU + CPU and more longevity out of it regards updates and software etc. To be honest I'd go all out for a Quest 3 because of the lenses but if your budget is strict then it's strict.
VR headsets? I think I've been going to the wrong CEX shop.

They always seem to have a few in my local one.
@Ravenger did you duck under that? or was it so far over your head you didn't need to duck?
Ethernet for the PC, although I've a decent top end wifi card available if I ever need it. One room away for the router, about 20ft at most from the pc.Just to add to the rabbit hole. Is your PC connected to the router in your house by network cable or is it wireless? And how far away from your PC is the main router in the house? Is it one room over, two rooms, downstairs etc?
I have been looking on Ebay for a secondhand Quest 3, I have noticed that a few of the boxes in the listings have the same yellow label on them, it that a CEX thing
