byski flowmeter lcd question

hello is it posible to take off the LCD of the byski flowmeter and extend its wires so i can place it outside my pc case?
or if anyone have a video or picture with the internals?

Looks like it's just a molex wire
Easiest way
Remove the molex and heatshrink an extension on
Or just use a molex extension

But if its outside your case
How's it going to measure anything?
Unless some of your loop is also
Outside of your case

i was thinking of taking apart the lcd only if it can be done leaving the unit inside connected to the loop, im not sure if it can be done was trying to look for a pic or a video if someone tried to disasemble it but havent found one yet, curios to see whats inside behind the lcd panel

Ah got what you mean now
Leave the connected flow part inside
But lcd outside
It's probably doable if you can solder
But not sure how good it would look as the lcd
Won't have a casing then

yeah wanted to find a picture if anyone manage to teardown a unit just to have a idea if its doable, anyway i ordered some, guess have to just try opening one and see
plan to have a cellphone repair tech add a ribbon connector, im sure they can solder those little parts
