C&C: First Decade

Just about to install this, and its telling me I have generals and zero hour installed and it will cause incompatibility issues and to uninstall them.

Is there anyway to get them to run side by side safely? As I heard people with First Decade and Generals can't play each other on a LAN or internet.

Actually I can select not to install Generals or ZH, so will this now not cause incompatible issues?

First Decade has both of those games (in fact has 5 C&C games), so it's best if you delete any other C&C games.
