Potentially that's excellent, and I think you know it - I think it would certainly look better with less 'strength' and perhaps less contrast. Or even no HDR at all.
I like it. Think the light at the bottom is blown a bit though and it dragged my eye away from what I would think should be the main focus, the people that are in the light!
Yep, it's that which I think needs to be sorted out, I'll see what can be done, I can drop the blown areas a little more, will just need some adjustment in PS so that the top area isn't too noisy
I prefer the original, the stone looks nice and natural and not like its on steroids or computer game textures, the light also looks a lot more natural.
That version is superb mate - I agree with ElDude - bit of a tighter crop to do away with the distracting stained-glass-window top right and maybe the walls could be a touch brighter - but the detail in the relief is much better now.
