Hi guys,
its a long time ive posted on this section of the forum. The recent cold mornings, and the lack of being busy at work spurred me on to take out my camera this morning.
I got this pic which i quite like, but feel it lacks that bit of something, and cant quite put my finger on it. I wondered what you guys think.
Thanks

I like it.

you could try adding an exposure gradient though to lighten up to bottom, if you think it is to dark that is.

I like it but the border is distracting (at least remove the white border).
Its too small to really tell but I don't think the foreground is too dark. YOu should decide what you want out of the foreground. To me, the emphasis is on the sky so an overly dark or silhoutte foreground is fine. If you wanted the viewer to appecirate the whole scene and gain details from the lake then increaisn gthe exposure 0.5 stop may help.

But my work screen isn't calibrated

I keep wanting to know what's on the right i.e. sun could have been more central.

Larger pic would be useful too.

Nice shot, some suggestions of what I would try just to see below, although I'm on a rubbish screen in work so may not apply!

There's quite a nice colour change from the orange to the blue, I'd be tempted to increase the saturation a bit, make the sky and the reflection stand out more. Maybe play with the levels histogram as well to give the contrast a boost. Possibly crop a little of the sky at the top.
