I have an OCZ SSD which is 60GB with Windows 7 and normally have around 8GB free but sometimes I have no space at all, not even enough to clean up my hard disk.... is this normal?

Disable system restore link
Download and Run ccleaner link
Disable hibernation (start a cmd prompt in admin mode the type. powercfg -h off press enter. link
Move your Docs/Photos/Music/Videos to another drive link

its probably whats stored in the pagefile,8gb worth, you can reduce that to say 2gb which will free up space too but normally a restart will restore any space

60gb should be ample for Windows 7.. but as bledd. said, you may need to redirect all your folders to a traditional hard drive, which is what i do. Pain the **** when you have to reinstall windows, but worth it. It means you can also backup your data volume easily too.

Might also be worth changing the installation default:

1. Start Registry Editor by entering “Regedit” in the search All programs.

2. Locate the following:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion

3. Right click on the value named ProgramFilesDir & change the default value C:\Program Files to the path you want to install all your programs in.

4. Click OK and Exit.
