I'm sure this affects people on here in some way as they have mortgages / savings and some might even work for them.

Their HQ is here in Gloucester and that might be next to go. "They" say that it's all the fault of the big boys at the top again, yet they keep their jobs whilst everyone else suffers.

Cant say I'm surprised, I'd honestly expected lloyds to have closed C&G branches down a long time ago, but now with the HBOS takeover there is no point having 3 stores owned by the same company on the high street. Its cheaper to consolidate and have 1.

Yup a real shame for those who will lose their jobs

See my thread today about the man who ruined HBOS, now owned by Lloyds of course, getting a new job at Boots that will pay him £1m a year.

Scorza, thats what made me post about this after I'd read it on the local news site. £1m per annum isn't bad as the price of failure is it?!
