C2 HDI's

I know that a 2.0 mondeo Ghia X will be almost as quick, better equipped, newer and use a lot less fuel than my jag. But i know which one i want to be driving. Car preferences are often irrational, its a love thing! :D

For something like a Jag, Alfa, whatever, sure.

But the heart has no place in the decision to purchase a Citroen C2 diesel :p

You'd be surprised how some people can become very attached to cars that most people see nothing special in.

I know people who love corsas... now that is far worse than loving a C2 diesel.

I seem to remember the C2 having problems with the brakes when they first came out. I think they must be cured because they did a kit to fix the problem, Although that might have only applied to the sporty petrol models.
Haven't looked at one for a while but, when they came out that instrument cluster was just plain awful.
My parents bought a new C3 diesel and the primary fuel pump failed in 6 weeks.

But why would you care about that given they are all still under warranty so even if you buy one with every fault going it can be fixed free?
Thats true but, This is a Citroen we are talking about here.

Citroen Dealerships have to be the worst in the UK, I know from first hand experience unfortunately.

Edit: Also the general idea of people buying a new car is so it spends more time on the road and less time in the garage being fixed.
